Who is the insured?

With respect to the ‘intended insured’ under both Physiosure and Therapysure the policies we provide are for single practitioner cover and as such the Insured Name is limited to the individual practitioner. i.e we are insuring you for professional indemnity and not your business entity.

The Public Liability (PL) premium component is for a single location. If the Insured owns more than one building or carries the lease for more than one building then we can quote for PL cover if needed. In this instance we will need to multiply the Public Liability component of the premium cost for each additional location/building they own or carry the lease for.

If the insured is only sub-leasing/renting space from a lease holder at several locations, then only the single location premium applies. In summary if you are a practice principle and own outright ,or own the leases on several practice locations, then you can only nominate one of them on the standard policy. In such cases we can quote to include several.

If you rent or sublease different locations and spend time between them during the week then we cover you for the Pubic Liability in respect of all their locations under the standard cover.
